Budo TaiJutsu (Ninjutsu)

16+ Classes | Monday & Wednesday | 06:30pm - 08:00PM

Students learn how to move naturally, efficiently, and without unnecessary tension. This includes:

  • Balance and posture
  • Footwork and angling
  • Falling and rolling safely
  • Distance management
  • Escaping from disadvantageous positions
  • Boundary setting and conflict avoidance
  • Survival skills and orienteering 
  • Remaining calm under pressure
  • Awareness of surroundings
  • Emotional control
  • Discipline and humility
  • Avoidance before confrontation
  • Staff (bo, jo, hanbo)
  • Wooden sword (bokken)


Rather than relying on strength or athleticism alone, the emphasis is on timing, structure, leverage, and positioning.

All classes are 90 minutes in length, include mindfulness practices and are rooted in tradition and balancing one's life.
